The Arplakyon are a race of large mammals belonging to the Ankylodan family. The Arplakyon are, along with the Ankylondrus, the most representative and emblematic members of the Ankylodans.

The Arplakyon have powerful plate armor which gives them incredible resistance, This armor is so resistant that it is even capable of resisting attacks from large draconids. In addition, the Arplakyon have a tail similar to a hammer or mallet with which they can cause forceful attacks of enormous power with which they can strike down or kill their enemies. The Arplakyon are a solitary race who live in the rocky regions of the world of Arcarius. The Arplakyon are characterized by feeding mainly on rocks and other minerals, the reason for this is because the Arplakyon absorb nutrients and minerals from the rocks to strengthen their armor.

Despite having an interesting and aggressive appearance, the Arplakyon are a normally peaceful race that prefers to stay away from conflicts. These Ankylodans prefer to live peacefully, wandering the world and feeding on rocks. However, the Arplakyon demonstrate courage and ferocity when facing their enemies. Among the main rivals of this race can be found everything from saurians, other mammals to draconians.
