I was thinking about my next all-stars basketball picture. thinking about using that part of Jak 2 when your on those catwalks of the palace high above Haven city. let me know in the comics who you think should be playing. I was thinking about Kat and Toro, but they need to play against characters who aren't in the roster already. please post a suggestion.
and of course feel free to indulge the Playstation All-Stars basketball concept by making some art of your own.

There`s a website called RedBubble.com were you can sell your images as prints on T-Shirts, Posters, IPhone Covers and Stickers. You can check it out, and they have a lot of stuff based of TV Shows and games and they didn`t get anyone knocking on there door for copyright issues. Just give credit.

also i got some ideas for the Jak 2 level you said and how the control for each character would work (as in which buttons to press for which action the characters would do)

well for the Jak 2 Stage named "Haven Palace", the field would be made of glass runway, there would be caution squares that work like trapdoors and anyone who fall through them would have to wait 10 secs. to respawn on the field, every now and then Haven Guards will show up and shoot at all the players for trespassing, special guest spectators for this area would be Oden & Pecker, Torn, Kira, Demos (Green Sage), and Ashlyn
as for character controls
Square: to steal the ball
X: to Jump
Triangle: to pass
Circle: to shoot ball (how far you are from the basket plus the character's shooting/accuracy depends on whether the ball will reach the basket or not, such as a 1-100% chance if it misses or not
Analog stick: move around
R1 & L1: to switch between teammates
L2: to block attacks like Lv. 1 & 2 supers but not Lv. 3
R2: for Basketball Supers, you have a meter that goes up to 3, level 1 & 2 supers are all the same for everyone but level 3 is different
Lv. 1 allows you to attack 1 or more players that leaves them stunned and they drop the ball if they have it
Lv. 2 allows you to sabatage all the players on the other team like to confuse them, put them to sleep, hit them all with an attack, ect.
Lv.3 allows you to be invincible, you can attack everyone in your way or the super could do it for you, once you get to the basket you can perform a 3-ball shoot, the character would shoot 3 basketballs each worth 2 points = 6
however the other players can counter this with their own super meter, the amount of meter the player has compared to the other's Lv. 3 depends on how many balls they can block
0-3=6, 1-3=4, 2-3=2, 3-3=0
but both players need to be at one of the basket for this to work
the way build meter is by scoring points (hope I didn't confuse you with all this explaining)
Directional pad: to preform taunts
Limited Invincibility: if a player make 5 baskets without the other team scoring then they earn an invincibility star, you can have up to 5 stars, they can only be activated at the start of a pass, Lv. 1 & 2 supers won't effect you but Lv. 3s can
Stats: every character has 5 charts to their stats
Shooting power 1-5
Speed 1-5
Accuracy 1-5
Specials 1-5
Boost 1-5 (has in how much extra meter they build base on how well you play)
characters can get extra stars added to their stats if they're paired up with a certain character, equipped with an item, or if they're on a home field, but they lose stars if paired with the wrong character, item, or weak against a certain stage belonging to another character
well that's all I have to explain to you, hope this helps with your idea, feel free to ask me anymore questions or if I left out any unexplained details, keep up the great work!

sounds like the gameplay mechanics are based more on an reinterpretation of the Battle Royale controls.
what I had in mind for special moves was more about building from a skill points. in which you earned more skill points by performing tricks. special moves might be executed by one individual or as a team. in place of a level three you would have a team special move which would allow for multiple scores at once. but of course this would take much longer to build up to than individual than a level 2, (an individual special move.)
individual special moves would be slightly cinematic and most needed to simply get across to the other side of the court without interference. this takes more time to build up to than a level one: a special skill move.
skill move might be unique to each character. depending on the character's unique attributes he could be able to enhance certain abilities for a short period of time. but another way togo would be if some characters' skill moves were completely off the wall like Spike summoning some extra monkey teammates out of nowhere or Emmet Graves asking Cutter for some protective cover.
over all, the basic layout of the gameplay should be similar to a combination of Street V3 and NBA2K.
as for stuff like power ups, attacks, and other special stuff that doesn't pertain to the character itself,... I would only go as far to say that if the player is doing a really good job, that the stage would grant certain enhancement to team stats, kinda like in my Olympus picture with sackboy. and maybe some punishment for fowls. adding all kinds of interference by the stage from outside the court might get really annoying pretty quick. so I don't think any items or stage hazards should be involved, at least not right now.
spectators might be pretty cool, maybe besides ones unique to each court, you might also have Buzz and Kevin Butler. at haven place it would probably be Baron Praxis and Ashylen or torn or the Demos or someone else. where as on Olympus it would probably Zeus and some other Olympian if Zeus wasn't playable. but anyway that would be cool.
not sure about the star thing, seems cool though...
and don't worry I don't know the rules that much either
