Beautiful shot, the boats are wonderful, and then the curve of the beach draws the eye round past the hotels to the distant cliffs and on to the sky. Lovely colours.

like the colour that came into the photo -- from the browns to the blues -- just by the way -- did you take the shot on a wide angle lens -- or is it -- just in lanscape mode -- later days

Very nicely done - was the time stamp for real (5.13am)? The lighting is just right, and perfect light is so hard to find (for me anyway!!). Perhaps I get up too late... What lens was on the 10D for this? Great work!!

i used a 12-24mm sigma EX lens for this. and yes, the time is correct, but it was set to the time at home instead of the time in england. it was actually around 11:13am when i took this

such rich colors - the browns in the front almost have reds in them that turn to oranges that contrast so nicely with that incredible blue sky
