and now... a completely new verse/generation/world! think of this as sort of my own version of G5/G4.5, or some kind of redux of MLP:FiM. This incorporates all of the previous generations and is loosely based on the G5 concept outlined by jenny nicholson! for now i'm calling it ages of harmony. first up in character reduxes is, of course, twilight. Twilight is inspired by G1 Glory, Twilight, and Powder, G2 Firefly and Clever Clover, G3 Wysteria, and, of course, G4 Twilight Sparkle!

Twilight Eclipse, or Twilight to her friends, is the ward of Queen Celestia, residing in Dream Castle. Nestled in the heart of Equestria, Dream Castle sits in the center of the idyllic Dream Valley, where the throne to Equestria and the prestigious Paradise Estate School for Gifted Ponyfolk sits.

Twilight was found in a deep sleep in the wisteria fields of Dream Valley a year prior to the events of with no memory of her life, her past, or even her cutie mark. The only thing she seemed to know was her name. Discovered by the Queen herself, Twilight was brought to the castle and cared for. over the summertime, Twilight became a fixture in the castle -- she attended court and shadowed the Queen, explored the castle, and generally caused a lot of accidental trouble. Twilight is intensely curious and clever, but has a hard time figuring out what is and isn't appropriate to say to the nobles of Dream Castle. She has terrible bad luck and is clumsy, often tripping over her own hooves and causing accidents that snowball out of control. However, her heart is always in the right place, and she always strives to impress the Queen with her budding magic. The Queen always tries to steer her toward less... experimental magic, but Twilight has a knack for uncontrollable and unpredictable magic and potions.

Twilight doesn't have many peers her age around Dream Castle, and spends most of her time either consuming as many books as possible in the expansive library, exploring the Castle, or chatting with the staff of the School. She has dinner every night with the Queen and shares all that she's learned throughout the day. Eventually, the summertime comes to an end and the School for Gifted Ponyfolk comes back into session. To Twilight's delight, she is admitted into next year's class of first-year students -- however, instead of joining the House of Hope, headed by the legendary unicorn, Star Swirl the Bearded, she is set to join... the House of Joy, led by the pegasus, Sweet Surprise the Cheerful. While disappointed, Twilight doesn't protest, and attends her classes. There, she makes friends, gets intor trouble, and learns about her mysterious past.
