Description
This was another project for my digital imagery class. We had to illustrate/design a cover for a book called "Invasion" by Isaac Asimov. We were given the specifications that it must feature a boy and a girl, an alien invasion, and that it must be set in Lancaster county. I was really excited about this one, because I finally got to utilize an idea that I've had kicking around in the back of my mind forever - corn monsters with giant eyeballs. Plus I got to go back and work in my usual digital style, which I really haven't had a chance to do since I started school.

Nothing says Lancaster county like corn. Believe you me.

Illustrator for the lines and Photoshop for the colors. 15+ hours, completed in one mad stretch because I was having computer problems. There was type on this for class, but I took it off because I like the image by itself.
