Even though he's a psychotic brat, I can't help but feel terrible for the guy. He lost EVERYTHING. His home, his family, his true love, his planet, and his entire universe were sacrificed to save another's. Then he gets shunted to a dimension where the only company he has is a married couple and a Lex Luthor Mad Genius-Copy that basically ignore him. On top of that, he has to watch the most terrible events that happened in comics since then occur on the Earth he sacrificed everything to save. Then when he gets back to the New Earth he accidentally kills a hero because he literally has no great control over his powers, then cries while trying to apologize but still keeps getting attacked for his murder. Then things only get worse from there as he loses what's left of his sanity trying to get things back to the way they were. He's basically a sad scared kid with the powers of Superman lashing out against a world that hates and fears him. I'm surprised not one hero of the DC world tried to at least reach out to calm his mind when they had him incapacitated. Instead they either keep attacking him or just beat him unconscious and throw him in the next new prison. Is it really a surprise that he is as crazy as he is?

Love Superboy Prime. I think he is a very underrated character int he DC Universe. I loved reading about him in Infinite Crises and Sinestro Corps Wars. He was a bad ass.

Superboy-Prime: Let me be DC! You've screwed up my life by having me "guest-starring", I just want to be left alone! Better yet, retcon my existence so that I never became Superboy-Prime. Its just one of the many plotholes you need to cover up with the reboot

chances are he's completely unaffected by the reboot since he's still stuck in the source wall.but he'll probably still get a new costume.

however what's really interesting about the reboot is what was earth-1 is now earth-0 and the new earth-1 seems to be keeping up with the old continuity (although with revisions depending what the writer does with them)however if prime comes back he won't be the same since infinite crisis doesn't seem to have happened in the new (multi)universe

It will be interesting maybe he'll see Lex Luthor and Darkseid in there(they were trapped in the source wall as well according to the late Dwayne Mcduffie)
