Do you guys remember when Disney used to release all of their direct-to-video movies under their DisneyToon Studios name? Almost all of them were sequels to Walt Disney Animation Studios films. Coming from Aladdin, 101 Dalmations, The Fox and the Hound, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Brother Bear and much more. The Lion King was one of them!

I remember how big the Lion King fanbase really was when the movie came out in 1994, resulting a big franchise with the sequel coming in 1998. I grew up with this movie and love the romantic story between Kiara and Kovu. There's a problem. People hated this movie like most original Lion King fans. You know how every time a movie get a direct-to-video sequel, people start complaining about these films that most of them last around 60-85 minutes. I know some of you guys love it, but not everyone in the world likes the sequel like most sequels released in the past.
