I canβt believe I forgot to upload this! It was in my Photos for three months!Anyway, this is an update of my yearly realistic SpongeBob drawing, and Iβm quite proud of how this one came out! This is also how I think SpongeBob should look for his next movie!

Eh, not really... the colors here are less vibrant and the hat in the actual movie is more like in Help Wanted. Oddly enough, Squidwardβs hat is the modern, pill-shaped version...

Sorry for the late reply, but itβs sorta just using the cheap version of Photoshop. First, I drew the linework for SpongeBob, in the regular cartoon style, then I found some textures on Google, such as sponge texture, metal texture for the spatula, and edited a picture of a red silk tie to fit him, and then touched it up with some shading and lighting effects, and finally adjusted the color to look less bright and more realistic.

Why have I only just noticed this?! The texture is really good; probably what the CG movie models were missing actually. I also like how his eyes look like...actual eyes. Again, quality texture! I hope the third movie next year improves the models.
