Back at it with the Saturday reviewing

Pros:
• Progression on Meggy’s college plot point; this video essentially happens because Meggy’s final assignment, and I’m glad they’re bringing this back up. It’s even referenced in the video how irrelevant that plot point has been up until this point (save for a couple moments in a couple videos). Granted, this does bring one of my issues with current SMG4 to mind, but I’m glad they do good here

• Luigi & Tari developments; I’ve noticed Tari getting more attention in videos lately, and here they learn to confront their fears head on. Meggy coaches them through Mario’s tunnel of doom and they do good.

• The Comedy & Animation; this video has good comedy and animation like most other SMG4 videos, though I did laugh at this video more that the last one which is a pro on this side

Cons:
• Mario and Meggy being treated as siblings; thankfully it wasn’t just clogged in for the entire video to be forced full of Mario & Meggy sibling moments, something that genuinely pisses me off when SMG4 does it, but I can name two moments in this video where I rolled my eyes in some extremely mild unammusement. I explained here why I think their sibling relationship doesn’t work and that’s why I’m not going to keep standing for it; youtu.be/bHVcHK1L77E

So all in all a good video, better than the last two. Still carries one of my issues with modern SMG4 (M&M as siblings) that tend to reduce my enjoyment of recent videos but this time I found myself a video I was actually satisfied with

At the very least it was better than the Environment video a couple weeks back, which was just bad to where even the good stuff left a sour taste in my mouth, there’s no debate on that at least
