Meggy- I love the design. This is pretty much how I’d imagine she would look like if she were human instead of an inkling. I get that some people don’t like it, but I personally do

Bob- Changed it enough to where it’s different but not to where it doesn’t feel like the same character. The biggest difference is that the pattern on his clothes initially are now a Bandana, which fits so well

Saiko- It’s basically the old design with a different template. Nothing new like with Meggy and Bobs redesigns, but the old design was a little… detailed, so I can see why they wanted to make her look more PG… I think, idk that’s just speculation tbh

SMG4- As iconic as the Mario recolored design will be, this really does feel like the content creator’s self inserted character in the SMG4 universe. Plus the hat is finally consistent as having an S symbol, whereas before it keep swapping between having a mushroom symbol or a Mario M logo on it

SMG3- Not as good, don’t see SMG3 as an Asian (no offense), but it’s not terrible and it does make SMG3’s different but still similar to SMG4’s, which it should be

Old Man- Don’t care enough about the character to have an opinion on it

Boopkins- They overdid the cartoony kid aspect of his character on this one. I know he’s supposed to look stupid but they really should’ve put more effort into this one
