This’ll be a controversial one, let’s get started-

The Pros:
* It uses it’s time well with only one “filler episode” to say being the Lemonade Stand video

* All the videos felt worth the watch; they were all either super entertaining or just necessary for understanding the arc, and for both reasons they keep the story engaging to me

* The SMG4 gang is represented the best here; we can clearly see that these are the truest friends you can have, they’re busting into an island of anime and fighting GOKU to get their friend back, we need more of this nowadays

* Meggy’s character development is great; anyone wants to say she’s a Mary Sue? I point right to this arc because in Meggy’s Bootcamp we actually see her tear down because she’s afraid of pushing her friends too far away from her, and the second half of the arc is literally saving her and her attempting to make the sacrifice play

* The finale felt like a grand one; leave it to SMG4 to have the finale of an arc be based on the UI Shaggy > Goku meme and still be awesome

* I liked Axol, he’s a good guy in my book

Cons:
* I’m mixed in Francis as a villain; on one hand he’s menacing in his own right and poses a genuine threat, and his actions in the arc impacted the channel big time… but on the other hand, his motivation is lame even for comedic relief

* I’m also mixed on how Desti’s death is as handled; on one hand it also impacted the channel to a massive extent and was heartdropping… but on the other hand Desti wasn’t used much before the arc (like, at all) and others have said it feels forced. All I can say for sure is that Axol’s was much better handled

All in all another great arc from SMG4 and I don’t see how people hate this. Yeah yeah I know, Desti’s death was forced, but everything else is handled greatly in my opinion
