Little late, I know, just thought since SMG4 is on hiatus I’d give a list of things I’d like to see more of in 2023, as well as some criticisms I hope will be corrected this year

#1- A Tari Arc: while I don’t need it to be the CyberVerse arc I proposed, I still want something on Tari. Ever since The Big Bad Bully (or, very debatably, “The Egg) she’s gotten zero character growth and honestly needs it. Yeah she’s cute and lovable but that only lasts a character so long. I’d love to see a Tari Arc

#2- More variety in videos: as much as we all love Mario doing dumb things, 2022’s videos felt formulaic for the most part and Meggy appears a little too often for some people. I’d love SMG4 to use other characters for videos instead of relying on the main trio (Mario Meggy & SMG4) all the time. My suggestion for one is a Guys Night video where it’s essentially Mario + Bob + Kaizo… well, having a guys night. That just spells fun

#3- MediExcalibur2012 to be the main Mario & Meggy video Editor: ship them or not you have to admit, after his video, it’s clear he knows how to write these two characters and what problems people in the community have with them both together and individually. When it comes to videos where Mario and Meggy are the main focus, he should be the #1 editor to work on Mario & Meggy videos. He should be the main Mario & Meggy in editor

#4- Better characterizations: Mario not to be a manchild, Meggy not to be overly aggressive (and to develop into less arrogant & overconfident), and the SMG4 Gang to actually be friendly to Mario. I don’t want another repeat of If Mario was the Last Man on Earth or the 2022 Christmas Special. Just write them like friends and if they do get mad at him make it reasonable at least

#5- Maintain Consistency: 2022 wasn’t very consistent with video quality until the Lawsuit arc started in my opinion. We had some greats like Cursed Tapes and Mario Screws in a Lightbulb, we had some garbage like Uncanny Mario and Last Man on Earth. This also goes for characterizations, mainly Mario and Meggy’s friendship. Medi accomplished step 1 in fixing them: make them come off as in friendly terms again. Now we just need SMG4 to be consistent with that

That’s pretty much all I have. I want a Tari Arc, more variety in videos (especially character wise), MediExcalibur to be the main Mario & Meggy vid editor, better characterizations out of the cast, and to maintain consistency in quality and characterization
