the blood or whatever at the backwall looks a bit ugly. i guess it isn't a splash in the air, right? i had removed that with photoshop, but the lightning from behind looks cool with the mutant.

i think so... bad thing is it catches the eye... a bit annoying... but that can happen... same problem with the lightning in my last one... sometimes it just won't work as expected.

This would make for a kickass video game boss battle. Why do I say that? Well, that's because it already looks like a videogame cut-scene for one thing. Second is that survival horror could use a real game based around this idea, not just some dumb DLC add-on.
I think I am deviating too much from my main point. What I am trying to say is, great work and you know how to use your environment, your models and lighting very well.
