Description
When I shot this, I thought: "The only things we really need in life are: manna (bread/food) and God (the Word/Morals of Life)." I had fun doing this photo shoot in my kitchen. I thought this particular loaf of bread was very photogenic!! The lines on the bread created by the flour even appear to be The Tree of Life!I shot this with my new Canon EOS 20D.

i take it those are reading glasses? nicely composed, but the shadows make it a darker shot than i think it could be.

thanks for all the comments! Technically those are not reading glasses, but that's the idea in the photo.
As for the shadows, those are definitely there intentionally! My photography/art is completely subjective. I don't expect to necessarily please others with my product. Anyone can think whatever they want about my photos; but the truth of it is: I purposely take my photos the way I take them. With all the cropping and shadows and lighting effects, it's all done exactly the way I want it to be.
