Dunno. Piccolo is living proof that Nameks can be as powerful as Saiyans, but Saiyans will always be the strongest, because they love to fight.

Yeah, but he did use fusion. Granted, the warrior Nameks were easily the level of saiyan warriors, aside from the stronger ones, like Bardock, possibly King Vegeta and Prince vegeta during the Saiyan Saga. Of course, Nail was as strong as the Ginyu force.

And Goku and Vegeta only got so strong due to Namek Zenkais (Goku literally became 33.33 times stronger(90K-3M) after the Ginyu fight, Vegeta went from 30K to 530K and then went from 530K to above Piccolo, so probably 1.5-2M)

The question is, how strong did Piccolo and Goku get in between Cell and Buu. Because Goku likely gained more strength than Piccolo, but the question is how much.

Some speculate he's using a kind of helmet, that's why there's no ears or antannae. Who knows...

Doesn't look like a helmet though. It seems to be just his head. And, I feel like he just looks more Cell-ish, even if it were a helmet.

Indeed, just a wild guess. ^^
Anyway, even thought he has share some traits with Cell, it's unlikely he'll be an alternate version of him. It's just Toriyama archetypes. xD

I don't know. Maybe not an alternate universe version per say as in a parallel Cell, but perhaps an equivalent, as in a similar looking Bio-Android. Maybe.

I like the idea, But... Wouldn't that consider him a weapon? Even Magetta, whom we thought was a robot, is in fact a robot-like species. Being a robot, an android would forbid him to participate, since his entire body would be a weapon. I guess even a BIO android would still be considered a weapon, an artificial being.

I mean, they didn't prohibit weapons, nor would he necessarily be a weapon. Shadow the Hedgehog wasn't a weapon.

I also don't think a biological being would be prohibited because it was created with the intent of making a weapon. It's still a being. Not really a weapon unless it is nothing but a weapon: No emotion, no free will, just killing and fighting.
