------------------------------------
(above) Nlaide Deccideons "Holding the line" during a brief skirmish with a Kushawan patrol.
With capital shielding contained within a battlecruiser hull, Deccideon's en-masse are a force to be reckoned with in thier own right, regardless of their near support ship status.
Designed by Amos Grey, a manufacturer with a logistics heritage that runs deep throughout their entire line, the Deccideon is the first on any Commanders list, when fleet composition considerations are brought to the strategic table.
If you want to know more about the project or get involved, please follow this [link] and visit the information center to find out more.
Once again, thanks for all the help and support from the people I've probably nagged and irritated over the last few weeks.
Please follow [link] to get a version of this wall paper to fit your screen size. Whilst your there, be sure to check out information about the project as we are still looking for talented artists to work with.
As always, fav's, comments and watches are greatly appreciated.

There's quite a few different ways of creating starfields that produce totally different results. The style you choose is up to you though I do recommend a few tutorials

It's a case of practising and spending an hour or 2 for each starfield.
I hope that helps.

Very cool piece! I love the detail and a lot of action without making the scene too busy. Truely great work!

Oooooh... Prettyyyy...
This is quite cool. Is it an original project, or based off of a video game or some other project?

Awesome! I'll be watching, for sure! I love space stuff, especially starships and space vessels with awesome backgrounds, like nebulas or galaxies and vibrant battle scenes...
Also, railguns and mass drivers are cool starship weapons, too. :3

For some odd reason I thought they should be called Orcas or Charons when I first saw that.
Good job, would love some more views of those.

Hehe, probably subconsciously had one of the images from the old eve intro influence this piece.
Anyway, thanks for the comments, I'm not sure when i'm going to use this model again but if you want to see more views you can check out the WIP shots at this [link]
Cheers

Awesome work as always. Hope the Kushawan have good Anti-Missile systems. Will the Deccideon and the Agni get those same schematic wallpaper as the Varuna, I'd love to see both ships in more detail.

Might not happen for a while, but it'll try and do something schematic with the ships one day .

Beautiful work! I like the way the enemy is attacking out of the glare of the sun as well.
A question: are the glowing violet objects missile plumes?

Hmmm, alot of people wanted lasers, others wanted no pew-pew/dakka-dakka at all. As few pieces of art on DA have laser beams, I decided to go with it on this image, but there will be more serene pictures in future!
