I will always love my Chirstopher Reeves, HOWEVER, I think next in line and should stay as Superman, is this man right here. I loved the 2006 movie, it had a new cast and yet I felt like some parts it was as if I was watching the old one. Love all of them, the new one eh I'm not so sure I'd pick that guy to play the new one.

I don`t know if I`m in the minority here for saying this and it`s just my opinion, but to me,Superman Returns was an underwhelming, boring, disappoinment. It felt like a tremendous letdown.Instead of bringing in other villains from Superman`s Rogues Gallery,it was Lex Luthor,Super-Genius and mid-western Huckster as the main villain, at it again with another real estate scheme.I felt like giving Superman an illegitimate Super-Son in Superman Returns, was a mistake.I think that Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane, was a Miscast. She was 22 at the time of filming and 23 by the time Superman Returns was released in 2006.In my opinion, she was far too young and looked far too young to be believable playing Lois,an accomplished, experienced pulitzer-prize winning journalist, who had a romantic history with Superman,a five-year old son and who was engaged to be married (obviously, someone can be very successful at 22 or married at 22 or have children at 22 or have a past romantic history at 22 and be divorced or engaged at 22,but combining it with everything else that Lois was supposed to be given how young Bosworth was at the time and how young she looked at the time, was just too much,my suspension of disbelief simply could not go that far).Bosworth`s Lois looked like a teenager!Even though, when Routh played Superman in Superman Returns,he was about the same age Christopher Reeve was when Reeve first played Superman back in the 1970s,Routh looked more like SuperBOY than SuperMAN.He looked like he was about 19 or 20 or 21.I didn`t feel like Routh came across as the kind of tough,manly,authority-figure Superman should come across as.

And as for the resemblance to Reeve,it was eerily uncanny how much Routh looked like Reeve. He looked like he could have been a long-lost son of Reeve or a clone of Reeve as a young man(and indeed,Bryan Singer, who directed Superman Returns, basically admitted that Routh`s resemblance was one of the main reasons he cast Routh in the part). But that didn`t mean Routh had to do an impersonation of Reeve in his performance as Superman throughout the entirety of Superman Returns, which I believe he did,he could have put his own stamp on the role and he didn`t do that.Routh seems like a nice, cool, decent person. But I think he had his chance as Superman and honestly,I feel like he blew it(just as I feel like Bryan Singer blew it as the Director). Now others(Henry Cavill and Zack Snyder)are getting their turn with the lead role and position as Director.Cavill doesn`t look like any of the previous actors who have played Superman. He looks like Superman(if my point makes sense). I enjoyed Superman Returns and I like it,but I just feel like it could have and should have been better, and I see it as a missed opportunity.Brandon Routh is now The One-Off Superman. But still, this is one of the best pictures of Routh as Superman.

Brandon Routh as the New Superman was excellent and we still love Christopher Reeves as well. You captured the essence of a true hero!

Thank you very much! I think the same about Routh. And of course Chris Reeve (not Reeves) is for me the greatest one of all time.

This one is more like a cross between brandon routh and Tom welling. Maybe the lips. I'm not sure.

But great as always.

Oh and if you having trouble finding a good pose for Kirk Alyn, maybe you draw the face and altered the pose to fit with the other?
