It had to be to make the film reach threshold... I wish it wasn't so dark... my theory is I'll get better at the picture-taking-so-contact-prints-look-nice part with more practice... just need more practice...

14A is a little more medium grey than I would like, but I agree, it is a good image. I really like 19A, I might do that one first. We'll see. 20A doens't feel like it has enough contrast to me, even thought it would have a white and a black.

Hehehe... you want Gato: The Sequal, eh?

14A looks like it might be pretty cool. And the rose pictures could be cool if you really screwed around with them

What do you mean by "screw around with them"? I'd like to know exactly so I can try it

Ummm. They're just not terribly unique right now. A dark rose sitting in the light -- it's just not something I've never seen.

You've worked with photoshop, yeah? The first thing that comes to my mind would be to separate the rose from the background even more. Right now it's a dark object bathed in light, but what if you made it glow darkness but lightened up the actual rose itself. So it's a light spot emanating darkness that's sitting in the light of the window.

i might be able to pull that off. I'll probably try in the darkroom first, but Photoshop will be much easier. Thanks for the idea!
