Color version of This Leaf . (Sorry for another one, Mark.)I think the technical aspects of it are pretty good, but one point of me putting it on deviantArt is to get feedback about that, right? So please let me know what you think

I really love this. I love the colours, and how it offsets the stark background. It is what I see around me (now that it isn't summer anymore). The colours are really beautiful! You did a wonderful job. I like both the b/w version and this one! I cannot decide.... wonderful work either way!

Personally, I much prefer the b/w version of it. I think fall foliage is much better in context, and the colors of this one are neither strong enough nor unique enough to stand on their own merits.
The b/w version, on the other hand, allows you to concentrate on all of the exquisite detail without the distraction that the color brings into the mix.

I understand. I saw the leaf in tones when I was walking, not as much in color. I'm getting better at seeing in b&w...
Cool. I was thinking of scrapping this one anyway, just liked having it for comparison.

I would be very happy if I were colorblind. You know, except for not being able to see your color photos in the way they should be seen.
