Description: This sentient-like being was one of three ancient knights who forged the legendary Sword of Excalibur. VELAIN's speed is nearly unparalleled on the battlefield, dealing quick, yet precise blows with his ice blades.

FINALLY moving onto the legendary trio of my region, we have Velain, the Knight of Speed, and the first of my Excalibur Knight trio.
As his description pointed out, not many Pokemon can out-speed Velain. Only Turbach, Deoxys (Speed Form), and Ninjask are able to outrun this speed demon. Velain also has a lot of Special Defense, and has good attack stats as well (mainly in physical attack. However, like most Ice-types, Velain has a particularly frail physical defense stat, so keep that in mind.
As for moves, his move-set mainly consists of priority-based moves: Quick Attack, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard, Mach Punch, and Extremespeed are all in its level-up set. However, aside from some good moves like Freeze Blade, Icicle Crash, Hydro Pump, and Waterfall via HM), it does boast some rather unusual moves as well, such as Hidden Power, Lock-On, Ancientpower, Close Combat Acid Armor, and even the almighty Explosion!
But, of course, as with most legendaries nowadays, Velain does pack a signature move of his own: Dive Fleet. While it's a decent move on its own, being a Water-typed physical move with a decent 90 power and 90 accuracy, it hides a powerful secret. If Velain used Acid Armor the turn before, Dive Fleet's power is DOUBLED, meaning you go from a 90 power move to a whopping 180 POWER ATTACK! THAT is a force to be reckoned with!
