Special Notes: *Monotreme - Rare type of mammal that lays eggs instead of giving birth to live young. (Platypi and echidnas are two such species)

Battle Specs: Just like its real-world counterpart, Tremelee's traits are a bit all over the place. In terms of stats, it boasts a mix of the high attack of Fighting-types and the bulky defenses and decently high HP of Water-types, and while its attack may not be as high compared to other Fighting-types, it's Special Attack is also fairly usable, which could lend itself handy for more mixed sets. However, it also has the lowest speed of any of the Sapio-native Fighting-types (which is still decent, but other fighters like Thundaroo, Equinight, and especially Taimese will run circles around it.), but can be somewhat alleviated under some wet weather, courtesy of its Swift Swim ability. Mold Breaker and Poison Point can also be handy, but are admittedly very situational.

For moves, with a hand that big, you know it's got some slap-happy moves in its arsenal: Double-slap, Wake-Up Slap, Knock Off, Force Palm, and Arm Thrust, as well as some throw-based moves like Storm Throw, Seismic Toss, and Vital Throw. Of course, you've got main-stay moves like Aqua Tail, Aqua Jet, Water Pulse, Liquidation, Brick Break, Close Combat, Bulk Up, Revenge, and even the rare Power-Up Punch. And, for type variance, there's Ice Punch, Rock Slide, Poison Jab, Mud Bomb, and...weirdly enough, Eerie Impulse via breeding.

Like I said earlier, Tremelee is a very out-there Pokemon, capable of being more versatile than it has any right to be, but never really specializing in anything. Still, nothing wrong with a bit of a wild card, and its bulk does allow for some decent staying power. For what it is, you could do far worse than this oddball!

Artist's Notes: About time I got back around to this line! Definitely had fun getting its design fleshed out; the tail hand came out much better than it had any right to! I guess my only nitpick is that I wonder how many people are gonna compare this to TemTem's equivalent...whatever that looks like; I've never seen it. Also, fun fact: I originally was going to name this guy Marsuplex (Marsupial + Suplex)...but ultimately changed it when a bunch of people on Discord were, like "It's not a marsupial though, it's a monotreme. That name doesn't work"...sucks, 'cuz I thought it was really good name but...eh...
