Description Here’s a little something I’m eventually going to include in a reference sheet.
The visor of the Space Entity’s helmet can function as a passable membrane, able to transfer the vibration of sound outward and take the solid/liquid mass of food/drink inward.

(It’s sort of like the paintings from Mario 64, but for space burgers.)

Hot damn, there was an anime I saw a smidge of where a character "ate" in a manner almost exactly like this.
He even swallowed a girl by accident, no less.

Nah dude, recycling isn't a problem, and with life being what it is coincidences are inevitable, no matter what. What you've come up with is cool, and makes your character more interesting!

Unrelated;
For the lulz, why not have random spacey events happen on occasion in the backdrop of the character's helmet, like ayy spacecraft passing by, stars being born, dying, that sort of thing? For added silliness, not one of these events would mean anything in context.

Alternatively you could go the T.O.E. route, where the character's face is like a screen, though still showing relatively unrelated events from various different space-themed sources.

Thank you!! I'm really glad to hear the weird ideas I commit to canvas are cool and interesting!

I do intend to play with the backdrop of their visor in the future. A passing UFO could be a cute detail..

You needn't worry about whether an idea's good or bad when you draw it, dude. The proof's in the pudding; you'll never know if it's good 'till it's drawn. If you don't try it, who's truly to say? And besides that, it's always good to draw more in general!
I might not draw all of my ideas, but I do draw every day; getting those ideas out is as important as drawing frequently. It's a hand in hand thing, perhaps.
