I like the detail you put into these model sheets showing expressions and poses not just the turnarounds.

The actions and expressions, though a challenge, are my favorite part. It's getting through most of the kinks in the static turnaround that kick me in the butt.

Photoshop and SketchbookPro, though, I think I may switch to Paint SAI for inking in the future.

Your turn-arounds are awesome! Just be careful with the expressions. If this is a model sheet then everything NEEDS to be on model. The biggest things I'm catching is you're getting some weird shapes in the eyes of the colored pose (the more distant eye is larger which is throwing me off a little) and the angry pose right to the left of the colored pose. As a final thought, there is just so much BLACK in his coloring. We're losing a lot of crucial information. My suggestion is to either 1.) Add in some lighter grey tones to help separate some of the details (like use the gray tone inside of the ears for the muzzle, the rings around the eyes, and perhaps the belly), or try lightening your lines so they look more like a shine, and you can still get all of the detail in there. Nice work!

Thanks a million, Erin! I'm still kicking myself in the butt for being so far behind in my practitions. I'll definitely watch anatomical placement. Sometimes I feel expedited in doing these, and that I need to put a little more time into them. Also, what should I do if a character is entirely one color, ie. Toulouse and Berliose in the Aristocats?
