...I couldn't think of a title so I went with alliteration. So this BEAST was leaked on IGN just a few hours ago and I fell in love (again) I seem to be falling in love with every X and Y Pokemon. I really like this generation so far. Pyroar is apparently what Litleo evolves into.I love it when things leak out like this >:3 pleasant surprises! 30 MORE DAYS!!

Interesting. Looks like the fire type lion counterpart to Luxray.
Flint fromt he elite 4 of diamond is probably snickering and being like, "Haha! got me a new fire type.~"

I really like the angle and pose on this piece. It makes your skill and imagination even more apparent, being that there are so few references of this Pokemon available so far. Great touch having the mane continue down the belly like a real lion, and I love the faint silhouettes of the Serengeti-style trees in the backdrop. They don't compete with the subject at all, but they're a sharp bit of detail that adds a nice touch of atmosphere and makes the whole artwork look superbly professional.

This.. makes things complicated. I like the bird which is part fire, I want Charmander so fire, I want the Event Torchic.. also fire, and now I see this awesome evolution

When I saw Litleo and then Pyroar I just knew people would make Lion King references. And when I read the comments you all didn't disappoint. 
The Thundercats reference was a surprise though.

It has more of a kimba feal, the designs of this pokemon remind me of kimbas father, and its pre evo reminds me of kimba, versus the lion king
