So this idea came up randomly in a conversation as I was flipping through all my programs. I took one glance at quicktime and thought... "hey that's a pikachu with his tail sticking out to create the Q" and so QuickAttack Player was born xD;\o/ totally by fluke.
Alrighty, I promise i'll do a more useful icon next time lol hope you guys like it.
.icns, .ico and .png are available for download and can be used on both Mac and Windows. How you use these icons are totally up to you, I'm simply posting them. I'm not very good at explaining so I can't help with the icon setup lol (Google is your friend 8D)

You should totally do a full system icon suite based on PokΓ©mon. Really.

I got directions, but the icns version of the pikachu ended up not working and the png version had a white bg when I used it. neither of the furret ones worked for me :C

Oh, theres multiple sites online that will convert the icon automatically. Just google icon converter and a few options should pop up. I make mine with Icon Composer for Mac

These icons are very well made, and I love the style you use for them- they really do look like professional icons. I guess being a graphic designer has given you plenty of practice with that xD I also really like the background for some reason... it's simple, yeah, but it also suits the icon and does a great job of showcasing it; all in all, it really makes it stand out xD

I hope that you use the following Pokemon or their evolution sequences somehow:
Porygon, Marill, Unknown, Nosepass (finder icon?), and I can't think of anymore right now haha

PLEASE make more of these. They're really well done, and if you could make more for things like file folders or Microsoft Office applications they'd be very widely used. Perhaps a Smeargle based GIMP icon, too? *hint hint nudge nudge*

It's cool, although yeah, I practically never use Quicktime. I'm always surprised when the plugin starts to load for something, and think 'wow, this must be a really old video'.. 
I know someone already suggested some stuff for GIMP, but I'm temporarily using Inkscape at the moment(whereas GIMP imitates Photoshop, Inkscape is closer to Illustrator). I wonder if there are really any Pokemon that would work for a mountain/ink-blob icon, though? Nah well..
