Edit: Now that I have a moment to comment, I'll say that I kind of like how it turned out and I kind of didn't. It was rushed for the most part because I didn't want to work on it later. The background isn't really of much effort as it's just a negative image blown up XD I struggled a bit with the body but for the most part I'm happy enough with how it is considering we don't even know if it's real or not. At this point I'm not willing to spend half a day on something I don't know for sure is the real deal.

He looks awesome like that 83 I think what i was expecting of the pokemon was pokabu's evo to be on all fours and mijumaru's evo to be bipedal like this. If they do turn out real, i cant wait to see everyone else's interpretations of them. 83 I know I'll be trying my best to make them look more appealing. faved!

I was expecting the exact same thing as you. I was pretty sure Tsutarja was gonna loose his legs anyways because the way a snake evolved through time (from the dinosaurs) is that he lost his legs and arms XD
wasn't expecting the sealion though but hopefully my twist on him gives him a better vibe for the haters out there. I'm sticking with Miju till the end. XD

I was hoping for a chinese dragon type thing with tsutajaa XD cause of the fakemon people created here, they looked awesome!
The way Ken Sugimori describes why he made it more sea lion looking makes sense, though i hope its a little better looking than the fakemon XD Still, if pokabu still dosent have an appealing evo than I'll be sticking with Otter/sea lion.

Yeah...though the original design of the leaked artwork is starting to grow on me. I still don't get how an otter can evolve into some narwhal/seal mix but I guess one gets used to it. Happened the same thing with Empoleons-hated them at first then when my two Piplups were fully evolved,they grew on me and now I love them 8D It must be the badassness
Looking at your art, I can say that your version looks like Water/Fighting which many of us are hoping.

While I'm still not crazy about the supposed evolutions for Miju, this I must say looks awesome~ The pose is dynamic, and even though it's a simple pose in retrospect, the image isn't necessarily flat. However, his right arm (or rather, on our left) bugs me quite a bit. It looks like it should be a little further back on the body, or a little higher up.

I actually like the final evolutions of the starters right off the bat this time around. Mijumaru's final form is weird, yeah, but I can imagine him growing on me in the same way Infernape and Swampert did.
