TRUE STORY;-; Here I was, (on the Pokewalker) against this pathetic Wurmple and it owned Mewtwo... he'll be needing to see therapy twice a week lol

There's some sequence of moves that does almost exactly this. It's like, the weak pokemon has an item that lets it retain its last HP when it would normally be knocked out in one hit. So you let your opponent go first and bring you down to 1. Then you use this other move that brings your opponent's HP down to match your own. Then you use quick attack.

I've had my own unfortunate things happen in Pokemon Heart Gold.
For example while walking around when I talk to my Mew it says that Mew is happy and hugs me and stuff, then this one time in a battle with Morty (ghost person) it said Mew is eager, but then as the battle began it said Mew ignores, pretended it didn't hear, etc.
