Description "Armethyst to the rescue, people! Try to keep your cool!"

I'm back with another alien for my OC's arsenal. Alien #3, A parallel to not just Diamondhead, but also Chromastone. Let's not dilly-dally for another second. Here's the info.

Weaknesses:

-Due to the unexpected heaviness to his body, he's very slow. Requires a lot of momentum to reach average running speed.

-Too much absorbed energy can result in a blinding explosion of refracted light to inadvertently escape from him, launching sharp energized crystal projectiles to shoot out like shrapnel.

-Can be melted or corroded by time rays and acid.

LORE:

This Universe is home to many diverse creatures. Some are so different from each other, and yet, some other species represent the best parts of a species, and evolves to perfect it.

The gem-processing planet, Gequar'ri, formerly known as Mor'Otesi, once housed two neighboring species with both similar, and dissimilar qualities were constantly communing with each other, only to then house a species that embodies the best of the two that came before, despite the aftermath that spawned their creation.

The Petrosapiens and the Crystalsapiens, they recently came together to use one of their shared moons to commune and unionize as one allied land. They held their moon in place with a gravitational orbit stabilizer, which in-turn, drew the masses together, causing them to steadily collide for a moment. While it caused two of the native species, the Subsapiens and the Antrosapiens, to go extinct prematurely, the alliance between the Petrosapiens and the Crystalsapiens ended up leading to the creation and arrangement of a special program, one that'll ensure that their species won't die or drain the resources completely.

The program was for the Petrosapiens and Crystalsapiens to re-locate their species to another planet, one group of species would stay on Mor'Otesi, while the other group of species would go to colonize another planet near their system. This decision would lead to both groups evolving and adapting beyond themselves, eventually leading to the loss of both Crystalsapiens and Petrosapiens, but it would eventually lead up to the species that we're familiar with in this day and age.

The day an entire mother ship full of Crystalsapiens and Petrosapiens left the planet, was around the time another problem had arisen from their attempt at preservation. A war was in the midst of being manufactured.

Supposedly, from what we could find on ancient holo-scriptures, a few elder Petrosapiens thought they were seen as a lesser species by the Crystalsapiens, made for slave labor while they kick back and relax, taking long rests as the Petrosapiens slaved away. Another scripture seemed to tell another story, claiming that the elder Crystalsapiens were seen as a drain on resources, which led to the unwanted separation of some members of their families being sent off to some unknown planet, most likely to just die.

We initially thought the real story was lost to time, or unjustly started over misunderstandings, one side being made to look innocent, while the other is painted in a more aggressive and obnoxious light. But, that was when we found a holo-scripture that belonged to the Omnitrix's creator.

"Life is pain, as is Death, but by surviving the greatest pain of all, you've proved your worth. This war was started over the complete opposite, and I use the term loosely. The Petrosapiens already had a rocky relationship with their creator species, the Crystalsapiens, claiming and having it confirmed to them that yes, they were in fact made to be workers, slaves providing free labor while the Crystalsapiens focused on bigger problems. I was called to Mor'Otesi days after I received the Omnitrix's parts, blueprints and patents, so I took the core with me, to mainly study the species, watching both species as they go about their daily lives. At first, it seemed like peace was being achieved, until the first assassination attempt was made. That was when the war was truly put into motion."

This assassination attempt that was referenced in the scripture was when a Petrosapien rebel, named Tetrax, attempted to assassinate the Crystalsapien ambassador of balance, Garr' Nette. She was surprised by the attack, incapable of saving herself in time as she was shattered into pieces and her remains were pulverized into dust in front of her comrades, and thus, the Gemstones War of Mor'Otesi, had begun.

It was around the time the war was in its earliest days, the creator of the Omnitrix retreated from the planet, going back to their homeplanet as the two species attempted to destroy themselves.

It was devastation, according to what was documented from digitalized copies of war journals. The Gemstones War went on for thirty planetary rotations, and hundreds of thousands lost their lives. By the end, the Crystalsapiens and the Petrosapiens wiped each other out, taking both of their respective species to the eventual finish line, known as extinction.

It was terrible, downright tragic, until something rose from the shattered and pulverized remains of both species. As some of the Crystalsapiens attempted to reform themselves, bits, chunks and pieces of Petrosapien remains began to reform with the remains of their enemies.

No one knows what happened, but the united regeneration caused both species to combine, for lack of a batter word or explanation. Initially, these creatures looked like a bunch of Crystalsapien/Petrosapien hybrids, each one different from the rest in terms of body shape, size, and overall crystal/rock composition. By the time everyone had regenerated and combined together, a few more years had passed, and the creator of the Omnitrix had returned, only to be met by a new species that proved itself to be interesting to have stored within the Omnitrix.

The Quarzisapiens, a tough and sturdy, if not unorthodox convergent species that can take a lot of physical punishment. Much like the Crystalsapiens and Petrosapiens that came before them, they can fire off energy projectiles, energy beams, physical crystal shards, form their arms into blades, conduct, convert and divert energy, almost anything that Petrosapiens and Crystalsapiens can do, though some of their resistances and abilities seem to be lessened or lost to time, they are still a powerful species, embodying the best of both species, coming in a variety of different shapes, colors, sizes, and cuts.

As of recently, Mor'Otesi has been subjugated and conquered by an unknown force that has overpowered them. It wasn't easy, but they fought to the end, like their ancestors fought to end each other. It was rumored that a Quarzisapien known as Sugilite escaped the planet before the invasion, but not much has been found out since then.

While there hasn't been any word from the Petrosapiens and Crystalsapiens that were sent off-world to colonize another, it's possible they aren't the same as they were before, much to the same degree as the Quarzisapiens. Soon after, Mor'Otesi was renamed Gequar'ri, and their moon was renamed after the homeplanet of their ancestors, Mor'Otesi.
