LORE:

The universe has a strange way of doing things, as many gurus or insane folk have said. While this is true for a surprising amount of scenarios, no one could've predicted that the universe had it out for an entire species or two.

Kinet, the homeplanet of the super speedy Kinecelerans. It was almost hard to believe that their planet was destroying itself, and could easily take out every Kineceleran that was on the planet. The raging storms on Kinet got to be too much for the Kinecelerans themselves, and many had to vacate the planet before it destroyed itself.

Few Kinecelerans managed to escape on ships, but there were some that didn't want to leave. Some were just stubborn, others were in denial, and others felt that Kinet was the only place they could call home, and would rather collapse with it, rather than move on.

Since there was little anyone could do, Kinet would eventually detonate in a grand display of crackling electricity, hurtling several chunks of the planet itself out across the cosmos.

The Kinecelerans that evacuated, they were alive, but even they had no idea of what they were supposed to do now. They lost their planet, have very little remnants of their gear, their culture, their history, their way of life... The effort they put into escaping the planet's eventual detonation would be called into question, until they finally landed on a planet teeming with life.

The Kinecelerans landed in the midst of what looked like a farm of sorts. The few native species of this planet, a bunch of bipedal chicken-like creatures dressed in overalls, robes and straw hats had come to see what all the ruckus was, and the Kinecelerans told them of their situation.

At first, the species of chicken people weren't too keen on having otherworldly visitors on their planet, but upon further thinking, and noticing that some of the child Kinecelerans survived, they couldn't, in-earnest, turn them away at such a crucial moment in their lives.

The species of creatures introduced themselves as the Clukombatans, and simply welcomed them to their planet. They let the Kinecelerans know that as long as they pull their weight and not become a burden on time and resources, they could stay for as long as they wanted.

From there, things had kicked off without a hitch. The Kinecelerans used their super speed to make farming crops much easier and more effective, even if it did leave a bit of a mess from time to time.

At first, the Kinecelerans thought they finally found another home, until they soon bore witness to a dangerous creature.

One of the surviving Kinecelerans, a woman named Shott Wheels, had experienced a few members of her race running from a big, black, furry and unsavory serpent-like creature with six wolf legs.

This was the Clukombatan's natural predator, the Lycathon. Lycathons are Python-like creatures that evolved to become more wolf-like, but be equally just as ferocious and intimidating. They move under the cover of night, leering down at the prey that would be unfortunate enough to still be outside when the sun goes down.

At first, the Kinecelerans had an advantage on the Lycathon, but upon swallowing a Kineceleran whole, it has started to become even faster. Through the combined effort of the Kinecelerans and the Clukombatans, their speed and fighting experience was enough to drive the creature away, at least for now.

The untimely end of the few Kinecelerans that lost their lives to the Lycathon, one was swallowed whole, and the others were mauled and torn apart, it left a bitter sensation dwelling in the surviving members of Kinet's fastest species, but the Clukombatans knew that moping around wasn't going to get things done.

Ever since the deaths of a few Kinecelerans, the remaining ones decided it was time to adapt, and the Clukombatans agreed. Every day, the Kinecelerans would learn to fight in a similar manner to the Clukombatans, even if it meant that they had to shy away from their former way of life, the life they knew back on Kinet.

Over time, the Kinecelerans started to adapt, changing subtly as their usual blue skin got lighter in color, as well as tougher. The Kinecelerans removed their gear, preserving it in the abandoned ship they came to this planet in, and simply continued to change.

As the years went by, the Kinecelerans steadily became less and less reptilian. The tails they had would either shrink and recede into the body, or just simply fall off, allowing for a set of tail feathers to start growing in its place. The balls on their feet had also started to become less necessary, being more uncomfortable on the palms of their feet.

The Kinecelerans would also begin to notice their diet changing, soon realizing that they need to eat more of the food that exists here on this planet. One of these foods they'd have to eat is the seed, as well as the flesh, of a fruit known as the Caerulacus. It looks more like an ordinary blue apple on the outside, but the inside of the fruit is pitch black. It may sound and look disgusting, but it consists of a special chemical that assists in the accelerated growth rate of feathers, as well as being packed with a rich amount of Keratin.

The constant consumption of the fruit and its seeds caused the Kinecelerans to undergo a steady, but almost immediate change in their biology. Their claws became more like that of a bird's talons, feathers started to grow from their bodies, and the amount of Keratin they've consumed from the fruit and its seeds has steadily transformed their lips into that of a beak.

This spontaneous metamorphosis of an alternative diet, training, hard work, it's allowed the Kinecelerans to become more like the Clukombatans, all while retaining a slim and reptilian-esque figure.

As a way of showing their appreciation for the Kinecelerans attempting to blend in with their neighboring species, they had created a museum, solely dedicated to preserving the history of Kinet, as well as its former native species, the Kinecelerans.

Sometime after the Kinecelerans have adapted to their surroundings, as well as bettering themselves to fend off the predators, the Creator of the Omnitrix came to the planet, hoping to gain a sample of the Clukcombatan species for the arsenal. He almost went through with this plan, until they caught a glance at what used to be the Kinecelerans.

These new creatures, they were similar to Kinecelerans, in some way, but they seemed more relaxed, willing to take it slow, and only pick up the pace when they have to. The Clukombatans introduced the creator to these new avian aliens, and dubbed them the Sparpasserians. The creator of the Omnitrix made up his mind and took a sample of a Sparpasserian woman, the former Kineceleran Shott Wheels, who merely smiled and waved to the intellectual being.

The Kinecelerans were dealt a bad hand. They lost their planet, lost a good chunk of their kind, and even after living on a strange planet that was the furthest thing from their home, they still lost members of their kind to the beast that lives here. By adapting, getting stronger, and being a lot less faster than they used to be, they survived, they changed, they can finally live their lives again, and they live every second with a smile, knowing that they live on for the ones they lost on the way.

Trivia:

-This form was based on Mordecai from Regular Show. But, it was also based on sparrows and blue jays in general.

-If Jump-Kick could be voiced by anyone, I'd have him voiced by J.G. Quintel. It just works, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

-I initially wanted to give the alien a red and gray color scheme, but keeping it blue was the best decision I ever made.
