Description "You are not supposed to be here. Either vacate the area, and drop your weapons, or near-lethal force will be authorized... and I dare you to try and fight back, your success rate in this fight... is Zero."

Alien Numero Nuevo, Number nine! So, this is the stand-in for Upgrade. He's actually a few bits mechamorph, but also a few bits of something else, and both kinda ended up being re-written into something else entirely. He's probably one of the more complex and complicated aliens in Chance's arsenal, specifically for the origins of his DNA Donor, something that will be covered in another deviation.

Let's get to the info, everyone.

LORE:

Somewhere in the deepest parts of space, a lone-surviving pod containing the last known model of the Terminan species drifts through the cold and unforgiving vacuum of space, only for it to eventually land on Galvan-B.

Around the time a certain Mechamorph of sub-par standards for the average of their kind was beginning to get pretty ticked that their creator hasn't attempted to fix them yet, the Terminan awoke from their pod, finding themselves on an unfamiliar, yet solely mechanical planet.

This Terminan had a designation, simply known as T-8 Mk 1, or Tate. Tate ends up encountering this soon-to-be rogue mechamorph, who introduces himself as Malware.

Tate introduces himself by his designation, and soon enough, the pair of them become more familiar with each other. With Malware wanting to be whole again, and T-8 wishing to follow his main priority of terminating all organic life, the two decided to work together.

They ventured down to Galvan Prime, which was already in a state of disarray when Azmuth gave up working on the Omnitrix, selling the components and the blueprints off and leaving the planet due to self-imposed exile. The only individuals that remained were the numerous citizens, as well as Azmuth's most-trusted assistants, Albedo and Xylene.

Noticing that the planet was under attack, Albedo wanted to try and fight, hoping his bravery to selflessly fight for his people would somehow bring Azmuth back, but Xylene had another plan. During Azmuth's time away from Galvan Prime, Albedo and Xylene utilized a small chunk of the oldest Omnitrix blueprints they could muster up.

Xylene decided to wield a prototype Unitrix, one capable of transforming her into a powerful alien of her choosing, and initially she wanted to turn into a Biotsavartian, using its magnetic powers to disrupt the mechamorph and tear the Terminan into scrap.

But, she ended up becoming a Mechamorph herself instead, and then ended up stuck as a mechamorph due to a genetic sequencing glitch. Still, she fought with all her might, hoping to stop these mechanical menaces, these android attackers, these titanium terrorists, from ravaging Galvan Prime.

How unfortunate, that she didn't even get the chance to fight back, only to be immediately being absorbed by Malware, along with the shoddily built Unitrix. It didn't give Malware much power, but it managed to provide him with the power to mimic the powers and abilities of any alien he comes into contact with, even if it's just one alien at a time.

Albedo, in the end, just simply gave up, went with them back to Galvan-B of his own free will, knowing that fighting would mean that he'd end up just like Xylene.

Albedo would be guided to the Helix, the device that led to the creation of the Mechamorphs in the first place, and was told to modify it. Begrudgingly, Albedo did as he was told, modifying it to Malware's specifications.

Before anything else could be said, Malware tackled the Terminan to the ground, trying to meld himself with the mechanical being. As much as T-8 did resist, and could very easily rip the mechamorph away, he instead invited it in.

There was a violent flash of light, the sound of metal shifting and breaking, the whir of nanites melding and molding to technology. Albedo hid within the Helix, terrified of what had just occurred, but then the sounds stopped, and a new set of footsteps moved forward.

"I am no mere mechamorph anymore, nor am I shackled by the conceited programming of the Terminans. I am more, I am less, I am all, and I am naught. I am the dawn of the age of machines, and all organics will rue the day, they ever crossed me!"

Albedo, without a moment's hesitation, modified the Helix one more time, all while the new being tried to kick out the Galvan from the device.

It was tedious, dodging for his life and trying to alter the machine's programming at the same time, but by the time he was caught, he was able to make the final change, and seal it as the default.

Albedo was pulled out, and grimaced at the face that met him.
"I am MALWARE, and you fleshy amphibians, along with the rest of the universe, have finally reached your Expiration Date."

Malware was more humanoid, the sickly yellow wires that cascaded about his new body, pulsating like veins. Two beady yellow eyes stared the Galvan down, only to then crush him into a crimson pulp, but not before Albedo let out one final scream, a plea for Azmuth to return.

Soon enough, this new Malware grabbed ahold of the Helix, and began to let it change him. At first, everything seemed like it was going to plan, until the nanites in his body suddenly began to condense and solidify into a shell around the Terminan body he now possessed.

He tried to simply destroy the Terminan, but found that his grasp on his own existence was becoming rewritten. He wanted to let go, but he couldn't. He struggled and struggled, trying to break himself free, trying to let go of the Helix, but he was rendered incapable of doing so.

Eventually, there was a violent explosion of blue light that encompassed all of Galvan-B, and then it began to fall towards Galvan Prime.

Galvan's moon collided with the planet itself. Though a lot of the technology, plus the Galvanic Mechamorphs survived the initial blast caused by the collision, their creators, the Galvans, were not so lucky.

From what remained of the now busted and unfixable Helix, which had crashed into what used to be Azmuth's old lab, a new creature had emerged.

This thing, this floating top-half of a humanoid creature, riddled with wires and cables, plus inactive nanite sludge spilling out like intestines, the lack of face and bottom half was obvious, but the rest of it seemed... complete.

This creature seems to recall very little, but it recalls something about the Omnitrix, something that seemed to make it sputter and black out.

The mechamorphs on the scene tried to help it, and though it resisted for a moment, it inevitably let the Mechamorphs repair it in whatever way they could.

Something inside it screamed to be let out, while the other seemed to demand that all organic life needed to be destroyed, but there were two more voices.

One said that organic life was flawed, but it doesn't deserve annihilation, it just requires guidance. The other said that life was precious, and by taking it for granted, life will find a way to persevere and continue, despite if the odds were against them.

Eventually, the previous two voices got quieter and quieter, and the being hummed, letting itself come back online. It wasn't even aware that it was shut down, but it seemed more complacent than it was before.

The being identified itself as M4L, or Mal, a Terminan Androbott that's been programmed with the sole purpose of preserving all life in the universe. As it did, it noticed a Cerebrocrustacean was in its presence, and saw a bright yellow light cascade over its body, only for the Cerebrocrustacean to leave the room, never to be seen again.

To this day, the Galvanic Mechamorphs call Galvan Prime its new home, and interfaced with the whole planet's defense system.

As time passed, with the Mechamorphs running the planet, with M4L as their defacto leader, he's instructed the mechamorphs to try and replicate his design, to make more of what he is, with little-to-no-success, but they won't give up.

Though, even with a renewed sense of appreciation for life, organic, mechanical or otherwise, he couldn't help but wonder, what did that Cerebrocrustacean take from him, and why were there planets being invaded in these recent times? One can only hope that someone can put a stop to this madness.
