I never said that Courtney and Trent were innocent, but they were hurt after they learned from other characters what happened. At the same time, it was Trent and Courtney's fault that Gwent and Duncney broke up. Courtney and Trent were derailed after season 1 and pretty much drove Duncan and Gwen away from them. Courtney got abusive and too bossy for Duncan while Trent got weird and obsessed with Gwen. I don't blame Duncan and Gwen for everything that went wrong after season 1.Β

Courtney wasn't meant to be what she was after TDI. It was because of Cartoon Network and Teletoon wanting the dreaded love triangle. Thus, character derailment ensued for her, Trent and so on. It's such a shame...

Gwen and Duncan were also at fault.
Duncan for being a coward, manipulative and unfaithful and Gwen for being an indecisive who has nothing clear and who first throws away their relationships without apology.
Trent deserved to be explained and Courtney still having his aggressiveness, Duncan did nothing but get the worst.
