Description I'm not sure whether I need to laugh
Or cry, or sing
So I think I'll play you a song while doing all three
One that you will never hear
Only because he's too busy whispering in your ear
The sweet nothings that will seem so special but be just that
Nothing.

I wasn't even good enough to be told you were in love
Even though our hands once fit together
Better than the glove that's currently resting on a shelf
It's holding all my love
Collecting dust
Waiting to be used
That's all I was to you

As I stare into the jar
That held my every wishing penny
I'm wishing that wherever you are
You still remember
The moon doesn't shine alone
Some of the stars still have promises to keep
And quite a few fountains still hold our secrets
But for now I see you're happy

So I'll save the pixie dust we wished upon
And the letters we swore were ours forever
Burn them all and pray a prayer
One for a warm December

the fact that you reviewed this made me happy. I've been having quite the case of writer's block. Mostly because I figured I suck so I shouldn't bother trying. So yeah. This made my night. Literally.

We all deal with writer's block, and we all have times when we don't believe in ourselves. HOWEVER you should know that you- by no means- suck. I believe you are an excellent poet, and you have such great potential! Keep truckin'!
