okay... some of u might recognize this comic page... this is scanned directly out of a magazine... it's my comic... finally it's out... XD XDit came out in gempak early august issue 185... *malaysian comic magazine...*
a number of people came 2 notice that it's a bit different from the version that i posted in DA quite sometime ago... well... it is actually... i drew this comic twice... the same comic... *i do that sometimes drawing the same pic more than once until i'm satisfied...* but this 1 is the more detailed & better lineart...
& this time... i am actually quite happy with the toning job... they followed the guidelines i gave them & the comic is no ruined like the laz 1... *thank god... *

Hm. I never heard of or read that manga yet. That is very cool. Sweet. I've heard of SLAM DUNK but never read it. I love manga that are serious yet realistic. Ohhhhhhhhhhh wooooooooooooowwwwwww.
I've seen an Artwork of X/1999 by CLAMP but have never read it. The artwork of X/1999 TOOK my breathe away & the story was quite good.

it's quite famous especially in the asian region here... & slam dunk is also 1 of the greatest mangas ever created...
hmmm... i watched the anime but the manga was never published locally so i never had the chance 2 experience it... so i had 2 buy the expensive importes english versions... >"< it costs like $38.00 each so i must make sure it's worth the money spent...

I've heard of that manga but I have never read it.
Oh man... most of the anime versions of the manga aren't as good as the ORGINAL manga but the last anime episode of Fushigi Yugi is the BEST!!!! I try to get a mix of the English version & the translated right-to-left of Japanese manga in English ^"~ Oh wow.

yea... like tsubasa... i was so dissapointed in the anime... 'cob the manga is like wow... but the anime... it's not even 1/2 as good... Y__Y fushigi yugi... heard of it but so far the manga haven't been published in malaysia... & i haven't watched the anime either... but since u mention it... i'll keed a look out 4 it the nex time i go anime hunting... ^^
here all translated mangas 2 printed in their original way of reading... as a malay i can read in both directions... this is b'coz we have 2 type of writings that goes both ways... ^^

Hmm. I haven't watched the anime version of Tsubasa because the manga is very often much better than the anime. Oh man. I know what you mean by that. Fushigi Yugi is the best... I finally got all of the manga for it & the anime isn't as good as the manga except for the last episode of it. FY has very stunning yet detailed artwork and a very wonderful story. ^^
It is the same way with the Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs are written in left-to-right or right-to-left. ^^

in that case... take my advice... don't watch it... beleive me it's going 2 dissapoint u like the 5th harry potter movie... *god i wish i never watched it...* fushigi yugi... haven't had the chance 2 reag it yet... it's not out yer here in malaysia... & i hate reading comics on the computer screen...
if u're in2 shoujo with love-life stories... i think this mangaka will interest u... miki aihara... he/she *?* has among the most beautiful & detailed drawings i ever seen in shoujo... have u ever read hot gimmick or tokyo boys & girls...?

I shall not watch it since I prefer the manga over the anime anyway. Oh groannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn *I saw HP #5 movie with my mom twice...* FY is a wonderful manga and Yuu Watase has a lot of little panels talking about her being a manga-ka.

I am a shojo manga lover but I love other manga too... Inu-Yasha, Planet Ladder, CLAMP's Wish, Crescent Moon, & Model to name a few. Thank you and I wrote down "Miki Aihara" in a sketchbook. *Aihara means love flower in Japanese!D* Oh wowza. Nope, never read any of those manga. What are they about?

always wanted 2 try yuu watase'a comics... but her mangas r not published by the local companies here which means that it's only available in imported US version which costs like hell... !!!! >"<

manga is best read printed on paper... call me conventional but i like it that way... i lead a very "manual" life...
i haven't got the chance 2 buy tokyo boys & girls yet... *it's in my must buy when i have the money list...* but hot gimmick is a life love story... it's about this girl who got herself stuck in between 3 guys... 1 is the bad guy but the hero of the story... 1 is a seemingly good guy but is planning a terrible revenge plan on her... & the other is her brother...it's very different from the typical shoujo mangas... the story's is more 2 real life & complex... & the art will take ur breath away...

Hmmm. Then I'll JUST buy the TSUBASA manga.
Yuu Watase's manga will BLOW YOU AWAY and I'm starting to collect her latest manga, Ceres: Celestial Legend which is a horror/romance manga. U'll be able to get Fushigi Yugi.
*sighs too* I haven't read CLAMP's X. Is it worth buying or not?
I know what you mean by that and sometimes I stay UP VERY LATE AT NIGHT reading my favorite manga depending on my mood.
Oh man. I have to check those 2 manga out when I get the chance too. I like manga that are very different than the rest. I can't wait to check it out!D

yea...believe me the artwork in there will make ur jaws drop...
the only yuu watase's comic that i read so far is ultamate boyfriend/settai kareshi... it's a romantic love story with a lil' added comedy... but the ending is so sad though... TT___TT
i'm currently trying 2 collect ayashi no ceres but it's kinda hard 2 find...
waaaaaa... i want shin angyo onshi... but the comic is so so so hard 2 find here... TT_____________TT
X is worth it... if u like their older style of drawing that is... b'coz it's very different from their more recent works like tsubasa & XXX holic...
if u like shoujo u'll love miki aihara's works...

Hmm. I love CLAMP's manga, MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH & would love to get it & they even made a 2nd manga series of it. Sweet.
I haven't heard of that manga at all. I love romantic manga with some comedy but I have to read it for myself. *THere there.*
What is that manga about? All the manga over here in the US is even harder to find & that's why I go the AnimeEXPO to buy my manga.

I've never read X/1999 by CLAMP & I've seen an Art book of X/1999 which took my BREATHE away and I love all of CLAMP's manga.
I love shoujo manga and I wrote Miki Aihara's name down in one of my sketchbooks.

putting bubbles in the comics isn't hard if you have photoshop I could tell ya how.
