okay... some of u might recognize this comic page... this is scanned directly out of a magazine... it's my comic... finally it's out... XD XDit came out in gempak early august issue 185... *malaysian comic magazine...*
a number of people came 2 notice that it's a bit different from the version that i posted in DA quite sometime ago... well... it is actually... i drew this comic twice... the same comic... *i do that sometimes drawing the same pic more than once until i'm satisfied...* but this 1 is the more detailed & better lineart...
& this time... i am actually quite happy with the toning job... they followed the guidelines i gave them & the comic is no ruined like the laz 1... *thank god... *

yea... kinda... i garis kat kertas dialog... pas2 call editor beberapa kali ingatkan diorg ikut yg i tanda 2... part mata strictly NO TONING...
i told him i don't want 2 much toning job in my comics... & kalu boleh guna ton yg soft je...

not realy... sebab org yg wat ton ngan dialog lain2... & X semestinya org yg wat ton akan rujuk kat kertas dialog... tp nasib baik la kita ni dah agak lama lukis ngan company ni so dah kenal ngan some people kat sana... so diorg la yg pastikan komik akak ok kali ni...

akak skrg dah belajr lukis lebih dari 1 style... yg ni stail chibi punya... akak ada gak stail yg 1/2 chibi... normal & simple style... normal & detailed... super detailed... & ofcoz the typical shoujo style... so i can do comics in many different types of character...
i like her 2... tp mmg lukisan dia yg baru2 ni nampak cam makin malas sket...
yea... i been there a few times... mostly 2 send in my comics... lagi senang kalu hantar terus kat editor sebab kita leh tahu on the spot kalu dia nak lukisan kita ke X... lagipun leh dapat tunjuk ajar ngan nasihat from the pros... ^^

eheh... it's published locally so it's in malay...
it goes something like this...
1st panel - "it all started 1 day when i came across this strange book..."
2nd panel - "no title?"
3rd panel - "i wonder what's in it..."
4th panel - "wah?"
5th panel - *side note* what's this... smoke?"
6th panel - *boy* hi... *girl* eh? (it's a commonly used malay expression when u're suprised or startled... kinda like "what the..?")

nah... this is a an 8 page story that was published in a magazine containing many other comics... mine is juz 1 of it...
my hope is 2 1 day have my own graphics novel published...hope it comes tru 1 in the future... ^^

This out on Gempak? Crap, been a long time since I picked one up. This one looks different from the other version...maybe coz the other version looked chibified.
The poof parts had Doraemon popping into my head for some reasons..haha

yup... me 2... i have stopped buying the mag 4 a while up until a few months ago... it's not that i hate the mag it's juz that i was a bit bored with it... *& i have like tons of other comics 2 buy...* but i find that gempak is getting better so that's y i started reading it back...
i used a different style of drawing 4 this comic... it's more simplified & chibi... seems like people like this style more than my usual style...
yea... it is like CCS isn't it...? mayb i was inspired by that... who knows...
