juz some random character design i came up with 4 a comic idea...i wanted 2 create a character that is a lil' different from the typical shoujo girl...tough... hot tempered... selfish... sly... but can b nice once in a while... 2 put in short kinda of a girl with some attitude problem...
thus this girl came 2 b... her name's erika... *maybe...*
this will b scrapped later...

I saw this sketch and I was utterly astonished at how much she looks like the protagonist in my novel. Excepting a tattoo on her left wrist, this IS my character Iris. Very fun; I wish she was one of your adoptables!

aah, there's this girl named erika i know who's the exact opposite character. she's so shy and barely speaks. X3
anyhow, lovely picture! it's simple yet enjoyable ^^
one thing that you could fix, though, are her legs. they are too long. a recent discovery of mine concerning the length the legs should be is that the thight should be about as long as it is from the characters waist to upper breast so that if they were to curl up, their knees would be upper breast/ shoulder height. the calves AND feet are then suppose to mirror the thighs so when you add up the length of the bottom of the foot to the knee its about the same length as the thigh, again thinking about the whole curling up anology. the girl's calves and feet are also too long, even longer than the thighs.
anyhow, she's very cute and makes me want to draw a sassy girl! ^^ sassy is so fun to draw

i wanted 2 come up with a character that's a lil' bit different from the normal shoujo girl... but the main guy character in this story is like that... bad-tempered girl with shy guy... quite the combination...
are they... well... 2 me they don't really seem long enough... b'coz usually i'd draw her longer... it's a shoujo thingi... shoujo characters always seem have really long legs that sometimes doesn't look very realictic... 
there r some glitches with the proportions there... i should've made the body longer... that'll balance out her long legs... but what the heck... it's juz a sketch...i only needed 2 come up with the physical characteristics of the character...

y'know... since i worked as an inker here i found out that i can draw other characters like old people or big guyz with muscles... i juz can't create 'em on my own...

Draw her smirk a lil more sly...^^ Her hair looks suited to her character, however her clothes seem to simple...I think a slight more rebel look would work.
