Description
...this was my first official drawing of Mitch Hyman's "BUBBA; the Redneck Werewolf", did this back in 2001.I have drawn two full issues of the character plus some promo illustrations and T-Shirt designs, needless to say, I have improved over the years, especially on the rendition of BUBBA's girlfriend; Bobbi-Jo(she doesn't look as trampy anymore).
This illustration was used as a variant cover(con-exclusive) for BUBBA's first issue which premiered at MegaCon/2002.

I worked on the last two issues of "BUBBA";
"the X-Philes", and "Rumble in Romania".
"the X-Philes" was my first published writing gig, I also did the art for it as well.
I do not know when I'll have the chance to write another Bubba story , I am currently developing my own projects at the moment, the first of which will come out next fall/2010.

-thanks, glad ya like.
I usually get the big pads of Bristol by Strathmore(19X24) smooth finish for inking.
Then I usually cut them down to 2 11 X 16 halves-saves money in the long run.
Every once in a blue moon I'll actually pick up a bag of comic illustration boards which are already cut and measured with guidelines ,but damn they're expensive!

heh - i can understand that. I have lkike three blank pads of bristol i haven't touched in a while since i have been doing more art on 70 lb paper... it's been working ok for my needs... but, bristol is so nice... really is.. should fiddle with something with, like detail or something

Always liked this image, and I don't think Bobbi-Jo looks trampy here, just fun-loving!
