Wolverine Origins #7 Variant Pencil cover.1st try at Joe Quesada's pencils.

Was used for my Portfolio at Wondercon 2011. Got some good tips there on how to improve my portfolio.
This was scanned from my original copy, then printed on 11x17 paper. Inked with Sakura Micron pens and white separations with a white Gellyroll pen.

this is pretty good looking ink work
but I think you might want to try inking with a little more line weight variety
try using a brush pen

But yeah ive working more with the brush pen agian, for fine details and some artist i feel better useing the smaller ones still.

ahhh i love this one good inks man i liek the cross hatching here as well but some of it looks not as clean i do love the picture tho great job

It was done in parts and i was figureing out the lines as my scan had some nosie in it.
I didnt look at Danny Miki's version till i was done and notice i could have done parts of it differtly.
And ive been trying to clean up my lines since i showed this to Sean Cheeks and Tone Rodriguez.

i forgot to say brother you should watch i know he occasionally has inking contests so he can color the winners work. Also he has a website of drawings to ink i believe it should be in his profile. and great work still mate just keep inking

Well i scanned the variant penciled cover i own.
From thier i got it up to 11x17 which are the normal page size it was done at then printed it at 50% opacity to make it look like pencils.
And yeah it was fun and challengeing to do as i didnt look at the orginal finished cover so i could use my own eye to get it going and i think im going to go back and rework it as im not happy now with it after the Wonder Con.
Let me know if you want a scan, i might just post it with the inks for a compair and contrast.
