Das sieht so merkwürdig aus... Gleichzeitig ist das Motiv aber wirklich faszinierend! Du hast es sehr ansprechend gestaltet, wie ich finde.
Ich finde besonders auch diese Kontraste toll - sschwarz-weiß und Farbe, flächige und detaillierteste Teile (z.B. Haut und Haare) und so.

Bei mir ist es ja nicht anders. Besonders Träume sind immer seltsam. Immer.
(Ich habe keine Albträume, aber so richtig schön sind sie auch nie...)
Saug diese Ideen auf und setz sie weiter so um! Merkwürdige Bilder sind toll.

you desirve it, that care and attention you have for your art really does show. When I see one of your character they are beautifully constructed, there is no question about them they are there they live and breath in your world. It's really amazing.

I think it'd come quite handy sometimes if you cut yourself and a steaming cup of mocha popps out ... I'm not entirely sure about depressed cats though.
but then, it would take the discussion about 'inner values' to a whole new dimension.
besides, I have a rising suspicion that the stomachs of a lot of people are on a secret quest to ursurp their brains.
so that would make me part of the status quo ...

Mir fällt zu diesem Bild spontan ein Spielfilm ein, den ich vor vielen Jahren mal gesehen habe. Der war glaube ich schwarz-weiß. Ich kann mich kaum erinnern, aber was ich noch weiß ist, dass es da um einen Mann ging, der immer zu viel gegessen hat und am Ende geplatzt ist.
Na, Scherz beiseite. Obwohl das ja eigentlich nicht lustig ist. Ich finde das Bild sehr interessant. Schon wegen der Form, die nicht so starr und kastig ist.

Nein, "Sinn des Lebens" war es nicht. Ich kann mich leider an so gut wie nichts erinnern. Alles, was mir immer noch im Kopf rumspukt, ist, dass eben dieser Mann geplatzt ist. Das muss mich damals wohl ziemlich beschäftigt haben, da alles andere vergessen ist. Dein Bild hat mich aber gleich wieder an den Film erinnert (bzw. an diese Schlussszene).

that thing with the glass was inspired by a snoring ferret I had the pleasure to get to know around new year's eve. but I actually wanted to make it look rather ambiguous.
