After two weeks of hard works I was really mad to see not perfect (in my opinion) result and wanted to yell and destroy. However drunk some coffee, turned on nice music, made corrections and now feel a little bit better. dontbeatthelaptopdontbeatdontdothemistake...
Yeah, I tried to make an art with the meaning (I'm bad at this kind of things). That's why this art took so-o-o long, so I'll be glad if you read my description for this piece and write what do you think about it. lol this never works, but I really want to hear any feedback qwq
I'm not a big fan of ocean thematics I tried to imagine why this character could love it so much and decided to compare it with my favorite thing - space. Everyone likes interesting places full of mystery! (Almost everybody) So, ocean is a perfect place to explore. It's giant, beautiful and full of life. However water is definitely more friendly for any creature than vacuum, at least this is the place where life appeared.
Yes, I wanted to compare that pearl this tori holds and planets in the sky, but I don't know is this understandable on my drawing X D
In the end I thought that underwater world has so much same things with space. I can't write about all I think and feel (mostly bc you'll think, I'm insane qwq) but I hope you catched the piece of my thought I wrote here/
And now I don't want to read this crap I created, cause it's so awkward.

Cause I made really hard corrections in PS, I thinks I should attach "natural" version of the art (actually it has a lot of mistakes that's why I did correction, but pffft):

It looks really nice, I like the sense of motion in the drawing and the colors are cool.
Admittedly I'm not too familiar with the character so I didn't realize it was an ocean scene right away. The space/ocean comparison does give it an almost surreal quality though.
Is it done with color pencil?

Ah, I can see that. If you don't mind me asking, which ones? Sorry, I'm quite fond of ballpoint pens, but I rarely use color ones. (And agreed, they usually suck)
Yeah, it's never that easy, though I think you still did a good job, if not at showing your idea then at least at making a cool piece of work.

Most of my pens are from nonamed sets for ofice work/children drawings. I only have one black Pilot for lining (but even this sometimes makes ink spots) and several Sneiders (my favs), but all good pens are big rarity in my region + they're 3-4 times more expensive than regular pens, so I have quite big collection of shit lol
