I really enjoy this entry. It's very balanced and the colors are rich but not distracting. I think it stands out even more in the semi-finals because of these differences. Overall, I think this is a very strong concept piece.

Yea, I did the background really quickly. I was planning on leaving it blank, but then I decided to put something atmospheric back there. You caught me.
I'm not great with hands, and know pretty much nothing about archery--I did my best!

Just kidding--but i"m pretty sure its right on the bow end. The arrow is resting on the back of her left hand to help her aim (I looked it up, as I know nothing about archery). Its the other end of the arrow that is messed up, though I didn't realize it until after I posted.

Heh--I'm not great at clothes. I did want something simple for her, though--to me, scouts are supposed to blend into their surroundings. And because they spend so much time out doors, they also want comfortable clothing. I did try to add some special touches, though--but they kind of blend in.
