A Google holiday logo for February 21, the anniversary of the first Legend of Zelda game release date in Japan. (20 years as of 2006.) Yet another project done in my Graphics and Design class; the sword, sheild and Triforce were sketched by hand then scanned and colored on Photoshop 7.0. The images were then melded into the traditional Google logo. Yay for Zelda and Google!Related content

didnt they have a competition for a new logo cos a person in my yrs got into the finals or someat like that i dont listen much in assemblies.....love the logo!

I doubt I actually could. All the fan-based google logos relate only to the original Google text and are not based on any theme. All the themes are currently done only by Dennis Hwang. Also, there is the whole copy write issue of what themes can actually be illustrated on Google without violations. Even the Joan Miro and Salvador Dali themes were asked to be removed prematurely since they compromised the artist's original publishing rights. Otherwise, I probubly might consider it. Oh well.
