... why does that player remind me of Captain Barnacles from Spongebob? I'm so confused right now :'D

Here's two small feedbacks: The Drowned's smaller than the player so it seems like it's farther away than the player, however the placement of eyes suggests that the player's looking at it.
However, the player could also be looking at the... guardian's skull (I think or there's a block that I'm not sure how to spell). I suggest for emphasizing this point, make the pupils/iris a little bigger. 
You did a pretty good job with the composition if you wanted to emphasize the "guardian skull" because the ship's lineart points to it, the Drowned's behind it, and it has the lightest value which gives it a contrast against the background. And I like how the placement of the fish(es? s?) gives your work a directional eye flow. I suggest direct the blue fish towards the player instead of outwards so that the eye won't "leave" the piece, and the light tans towards the "guardian's skull."
Also I feel like the ship should have some details? Like emphasize how long it's been underwater with cracks or mold on the wood (or you can simply add a bit of shading to it.) It seems out of place with how the others have a variety of values. (even if there isn't many.)

As for line art, I suggest adding more line variety PER object to give the characters more personality.
The colors seems pretty good if suspense's the mood you're going for ^^
