Description
“I would drink you up if you let me.”
With a smile, I look down in embarrassment. The sky is not the normal color. It’s glowing with purple and pink from the setting sun. I’m surrounded by water and I can’t make out the guy’s face. He is a blur and the background is the same way.
“Would you let me live your life with you? As if I had your soul?”
Swallowing hard, I look up at him, and I lean into him, whispering on his lips, “Maybe I could let you do that,” and that’s when it happened.
I kissed him. I could feel the heat from his mouth and his hands playing with the bottom of my shirt. The moment I took in the breath, I could feel his fingertips on my lower back getting cold. Pulling away, I looked at him. Even though I didn’t recognize him, I could sense his energy lacking.
“What did you just do?” he asked, unafraid.
“I think I was giving you what you wanted. You wanted me to have your soul.”
“No, I wanted yours.”
The phone rang and woke me from the depths of a dream where it was beginning to feel like I was finding someone who wanted to do what I had the power to do.
“Hello?”
“Seph, what are you up to?”
“Uhh…”
Had I not been sleeping it would have been easier to tell who was on the other end, and I couldn’t help, but to just blink my eyes back to regular vision.
“Just waking up?”
“That’s lazy. Get up, we’re going out tonight.”
Ah, yes, it was my friend Amber. The one girl who drove me nuts and yet I still remained entertained by her.
“Do I have to?”
“Yes, we promised the girls we would go out.”
“Fine…Come over in about 45 minutes.”
“Wrong, I’m on my way.”
Seriously, I hated when people did that. Showing up announced, but I guess I didn’t mind too much, she was my best friend, right? Doesn’t make it excusable, just another reason to move away and find a new best friend. Or I could just feed off her. That would teach her.

I do! Though, the name may be changed, it was a filler. I didn't feel like going through the trouble to look for a cool name, so I left it at "Amber" for time being.

Oooh, I like eccentric names! I like any names that aren't common and I'm not sure I should say the other way I don't like. Haha

I don't even remember what type of names I disliked aside from common now at this point, a few things come to mind, like LeQuesha...names like that, grind my nerves to no end. I mean, REALLY?! Why the hell would you give your child that name I don't care who you are, what color you are, etc. Stop making up stupid names from food items you craved while pregnant/smells you liked/whatever you can put here! LOL
Biblical names annoy me too, mostly because they are common though. I've found a few biblical names that weren't over used, or used at all aside from the book, and those were neat.
Names after states, streets, colors, things like that, really irk me too. Have a bit of creativity without sounding dumb, you know?
