Description A Reference sheet for my ARES Heavy Hunter, updated from the previous design over the last year or so.

ARES's armies of war machines are comprised of hundreds of different types and designs, yet few have earned the reputation of the Hunter-Class. These machines are primarily used for fighting or terminating high-ranking threats, including advanced units or military/political personal. Even among this feared class however reside the machine that is feared above them all, and the Heavy Hunter is that machine.
At 7' feet tall and weighing over half a ton, the Heavy Hunters are not as agile as most other Hunter-Class androids, yet this is a relative term when they can reach sprinting speeds of over thirty miles per hour and jump across impressive distances. For armament, it varies widely depending on the purpose, but the standard unit mounts a heavy pulse cannon mounted on the back, a clawed hand with a wrist mounted blade, a clawed tail, and a rapid-fire pulse cannon. It is far from limited to this fitting, able to mount full-arm blades, tail blades, flamethrowers, pulse snipers, grenade launchers, various missile launchers such as anti-armor and flechette, and gauss rifles. The Heavy Hunter, as its name suggests, bolsters heavier armor than most other hunter variants, meaning that it is often used as advanced infantry in combat, hence their infamy when compared to most other hunter, which are less frequently used in this role. Like most advanced ARES units, Heavy Hunters posses extreme redundancy, able to remain combat capable even after suffering decapitation and other damage that would cripple or kill an organic being. Should they sustain damage, nanobot swarms can quickly repair the damage, to the extend that severed limbs can be reattached within a minute or two, being far less effective however until proper repairs can be made. If the prospect of destruction is imminent, some Hunter-Class robots are given self-destruct sequences, meaning they can overload their dual cores to generate an explosion big enough to take down a house. This takes time however, and can be prevented if the cores are destroyed before detonation.
Heavy Hunters are fitted with more than just physical weapons, mounting an array of electronic warfare systems ranging from beacons to jammers that can hamper communications and give the machine complete control of a fight. Using these systems can allow the machine to separate targets before killing them one at a time. Hunter combat doctrine has been determined to be based around striking fast and hard when the situation calls for direct combat. Heavy Hunters in particular use their brute strength and speed to overpower targets before they have a chance to respond. However, they can preform more long-term methods, slowly chipping away at a target's sanity before striking when they are vulnerable.
In the end, these machines have earned their feared reputation, striking fear into the hearts of those who face them. Yet it is important to note these are merely one aspect of the ARES war machine, one machine type among the many others who all bear the same crimson eyes that speak of only one thing, death.
