What is the difference between the creste and thin-coat design-wise?

The Crestie are larger, 16 feet tall as adults while the thin coat is much much smaller. Though, they were intentionally made to look a bit like Cresteds as people really liked them and they were closed. :3
As far as marking wise, they are allowed to have different markings; doesn't matter what kinds as long as starts and zigzags can be rubbed into a more natural look like a star on a horses head and so forth.
They also live in different environments
