It's done...took me ahwhile..but its done. (-_-). Tribute to Kentaro Miura's epic masterpiece, Berserk. For those of you who dont know, this guy is...well, he has alotta translated names, but its pronounced Gatsu in japanese. I drew the other half of the sword on another page..cuz..thats swords badass...thus the little bit of bluriness where the pages were joined.. I was seriously considering doing my first background for this...but after penciling in that rock for an hour, I decided this was not a piece i should be experimenting on. So thats that.pencils/shading done with 0.5 mechanical pencil. Colors done in Photoshop 6.0

Very nice. With everyone copying or coloring existing Berserk artwork, it's awesome to see some original stuff. Especially of this quality. The sword looks a tad short, but the colors are fantastic. Keep it up, man. I'm working on another contribution to Devart's Berserk original fanart myself, though the colors won't be anything like this. Heh heh heh.

This drawing is fantastic, but the sword is really throwing me off with its midget size. I think in the manga it was immensely longer.

havent gotten very far into it i dont think (only on vol. 15). But so far i wouldve done
everything he has. Excellent job on this.

Berserk rocks and you rock for being able to draw such an awesome picture, looks nearly as good as an original Kentaro Miura's would, my hats off to you

its wonderful, i know you must have gone through lotsa pages looking at the details...>_< sometimes when I'm looking at the manga I go "that's insane...that's just...just...it's..." (for about half an hour then I can turn the page xD) and you managed to make Gatsu look like Gatsu....the only berserk fanart I've done is Caska, and I'm planing on doing Serpico + Farneze and maybe Schierke...

Haha, glad you liked it. The TV series was great...but the manga is so much more, have a look at it if you can, highly recommended. Weapon n armor detailing were learned after reading some of kishiro's works btw ^^
