My last submission for 2011, and one that I'm actually proud of!
Behold, Gandalf the Grey against the Balrog of Moria, from that iconic scene on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm

This was a gift for one of my best friends, , who - like me - is a huge LotR fan So when Christmas rolled around, what else was I going to paint her?

I even added some texture by going bonkers on the base coat with acrylic and a spoon but the paint didn't go as thickly as I would have liked so the impasto didn't turn out so well

Regardless I had a lot of fun doing this
Ohyeah, and ignore all the mistakes you see in it, I've actually already fixed them (or at least the ones I managed to find) but I forgot to take another picture before I gave it to her so this picture just has to do
