Description my expert advice on hwo to draw the little wigglers
its not actually expert ive never taken a professional drawing class and all of my knowledge is from 6 years of self-teaching

stuff that i didn't put in the tutorial but is probably helpful nonetheless
people will tell you this thousands of times but genuinely use your own hands as a reference. i guarantee you, it's much better than anything you can find on google images
however, you might end up with funky anatomy if you use your hands as a reference and are, say, double jointed - people tend to point out how liberally i draw my fingers when it comes to bendiness, but i only do that because i use my hands as a reference + can bend most of my fingers back to be parallel with my palm (i'll spare you the images)
if you can't get something to look right because the general outline for it is very vague (see: curled fingers viewed from a straight-on angle looking like just rectangles), you can usually fix this either with shading or with adding small details, like wrinkles, texture, or fingernails
it's in the tutorial already but i want to emphasize, don't be afraid of scrapping and re-doing a lot of poses!! it's hugely unlikely you're going to get a pose to look right the first time you draw it unless you're using a reference every 2 seconds. if you /really/ like the way a certain aspect of the drawing looks, maybe you can find a way to cut it out + paste it elsewhere?
