Derryherbert, Connemara, County Galway.

This was a study for my course with Angela Fehr 'How to paint Fluid with Watercolours'.

I love the mix of different colors on the mountain- I like seeing colors used in new ways like this!!

Good work! Very interesting, but you have a problems with a perspective. Mountains must be more light-blue.

Thanks very much for your feedback and the fave! I think I got carried away with the colours as there seemed to be hints of other nice colours there.

Look at that mountain! It's like an oily dark opal, shimmering with iridescent hues! OH!

Yes it is from that course! It made me think about my watercolour painting differently and paint with a more fluid style! which was the aim of the course.
I still like my detail as you can see, but am trying to not overwork it too much at the same time. xxx

I ave the same problem. I LOVE detailing..... but more often than not, it just kills the life of the painting.
