Description
the mother of all clichΓ©sif someone had told me yesterday that i was about to shoot a rose -with water droplets for god's sakes- i would've laughed my ass off. but it's lovely to surprise myself with the most simple things. i clearly ain't no plant photographer...i can live with that. i needed an excuse to post this (not really), but let me have my excuse; this shall be dedicated to ^superkev who's having his birthday today. b-day present, another clichΓ©, i very rarely give any. out of the shots i took i don't think this had the most pleasing composition, flowing and blah blah...but i insisted on it for some reason, probably because the drop in the middle seems to be falling, always looking for the melancholy
what's funny is that my 2nd ever deviation was a rose too ([link] ). anyway, this kept me amused for like an hour, it's time to move on. u do that too; enjoy and move on.

Cliche maybe, OK, definitely, but still lovely. The deeeep red is just too much. The natural hues and curves too irresistable to not gape at.

I'm a huge fan of nature, specifically flower shots . I don't care how cliche this is, a water-dropped rose is always beautiful.

"Beauty and the Beast" has a poster with a rose exactly like this one, in which are implanted the shadows of Belle and the Beast... Lovely shot

It may not be your thing, and it may by clichΓ©, however you've done a brilliant job of it and I think it's a beautiful piece... so well done. You seem to be able to do any sort of photography so naturally, I envy you.

i'm not able to do any kind of photography...but i'm glad i got u fooled i have a speific area i can handle semi-well and the rest...uh huh... but even the blind finds their way sometimes, by luck

Now that's just silly, seriously... that's not even modesty! With you being one of the most (possibly even THE most) popular alternative photographer around (and that isn't me just kissing your ass), that must be saying a lot about other photographers and your fans. If you're not a good photographer then it would make everyone else, well, absolutely shite!

maybe u got it right on no seriously, i'm not saying i wasn't good at some things, but my strength is also that i know what i'm good at, and flower photography ain't it. however, yes, this particular shot is fine...one shot doesn't make me a good flower photographer tho
being popular doesn't make someone good either, just a sidenote but i think we could agree that i have my strengths and sometimes i manage to give something else a shot and succeed in it
i mean there are tons of photos of flowers and others things that u won't see cos they suck, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
take care and thank you
